Format

We start the quiz at 1pm with fifteen teams. Our first round sees all fifteen teams playing at the same time, but only a Dirty Dozen can go through to the next stage of the competition. So it’s buzzers at the ready and fastest fingers first as the first twelve teams to get ten correct answers qualify.

We then enter a knockout tournament as the remaining twelve teams go head-to-head (two teams at a time in ten-minute matches) on the stage. Of the twelve teams entering the second round, six go through to the quarter-finals and after three more team head-to-heads we’ll be down to four teams (the three winners and the highest-scoring losing team) for our semi-finals, then just two teams left for the final showdown.
